1. Can I use Cotton Calm every day?
Yes. Its gentle formula, designed to respect the intimate microbiota, makes it ideal for use once or twice a day, even on sensitive skin or skin prone to irritation.
2. Is it suitable for the vaginal area?
No. Cotton Calm is formulated for the external vulvar area (the external genitalia), which is the area that should be cleansed. It is not intended for internal use.
3. Why does it have a pH of 4.5 if it is for external use?
Although vulvar skin usually has a slightly higher pH (5–5.5), maintaining an acidic pH (4.5) helps protect the intimate flora and prevent imbalances. This pH supports a healthy environment and is particularly recommended in general and, especially, during stages such as menstruation, pregnancy or menopause.
4. What is the difference between this intimate wash and a regular body wash?
Traditional body washes may contain surfactants with excessive cleansing power, fragrances with allergens or an unsuitable pH that can disrupt the intimate balance. Cotton Calm is formulated with gentle surfactants, soothing ingredients, prebiotics, postbiotics backed by scientific evidence and an optimised pH to protect the most delicate area.
